This took me a while to figure out. Installing the nVidia driver is the same as always, except that because FC4 now comes with selinux (secure linux) enabled by default, you first have to disable it before you run the installer... *sigh*

stop the X server (you can kill it immediately by pressing Ctrl +Alt + Backspace)
run /usr/sbin/setenforce 0
run the nVidia installer
run /usr/sbin/setenforce 1
edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf following the instructions in /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README.txt, Chapter 3
startx
